grim works

Grim Works is an ongoing initiative to provide educational, music and production support and services to marginalized artists. Grimalkin was founded on the premise of marginalized artists supporting each other. Through Grim Works, we are forging alternative systems of support for artists and musicians.

Video & Music Production Support & Services

We have an international network of trans, queer and BIPOC artists, musicians, videographers, producers, and studios that can provide video and music production services, such as recording, video editing, filming, mixing, mastering, production, graphic design, photographers, and more, to marginalized artists across the world. We fundraise and use other funding and grants to be able to support trans, queer and BIPOC musicians and producers to provide these services and support to other marginalized artists. We also use a sliding scale system for those who are able to contribute and help pay for production services.

If you’re queer, trans, BIPOC (or even an ally) and have skills to offer or are interested in hiring someone, please click below to get in touch.

Educational Services & Support

Grim Works provides educational and music and production support and services to marginalized artists. Grimalkin was founded on the premise of marginalized artists supporting each other. We are forging alternative systems of support for artists and musicians.

With Grimalkin's support through fundraising and grants, as well as guidance from certified and experienced educators, we create, organize and facilitate educational workshops and skillshares for artists and musicians. The workshops and skillshare sessions provide culturally appropriate guidance and assistance to new and experienced artists who are within the LGBTQIA+ community with priority to trans and queer BIPOC artists and musicians. The workshops skillshare sessions are created, organized, led and facilitated by trans, queer and BIPOC artists and musicians. We also use a sliding scale system for those who are able to contribute and help pay for workshops and skillshare sessions.
