College & University Internship Opportunities
We have a profile on Handshake for students attending college or university to apply for an internship in Visual Content Creation, Writing/Editing and Promotion + TikTok Marketing, We have established relationships with the Virginia Commonwealth University’s (VCU) Kinetic Imaging and Communication Arts Department. We also have a relationship with Old Dominion University’s (ODU) Graphic Design Department. These are unpaid volunteer positions, but you can opt to receive between 1-3 credits towards your degree. One credit is approximately 40 hours of work.
Are you a student from a different college or university other than VCU or ODU? We want to expand our reach and program. After all, we are an international collective regardless of being based in Virginia. Use Handshake to message us there or fill out our application form if your school does not use Handshake and perhaps we can work something out with your school for or without credits.
Non-College/Non-University or Post College/Post University Volunteer & Internship Opportunities
We encourage artists of all ages to volunteer or apply for an internship with us. Most internships are created for younger people, and while we love to support that age group, we do actively want to support artists of all ages, including artists who started their artistic and/or musical journey later in life. Virginia Department of Human Services, City of Newport News
We currently have an established relationship with the City of Newport News’ Department of Human Services for volunteer opportunities for LGBTQ+ creatives seeking to fulfill benefit requirements. Support our mission while growing and working on your creative endeavors.
