So Nice Yesterday’s Chant Remix Challenge

August 4, 2023: So Nice Yesterday’s Chant Remix Challenge album features tracks that various artists created from sampling or remixing the songs of Chant by So Nice Yesterday. It was an open call opportunity to be included on this release by Grimalkin Records.

The artists were given instrumentals and vox only tracks of the album Chant by So Nice Yesterday, and the challenge was to make a track using those tracks in some way. How artists choose to do it and how much they used was up to then. They could also add outside samples, instruments, vocals, etc.

Artists who participated are located in the USA, Brazil, England, and Ireland: Cin the Ciege, Action Bastard, Love Builder of Worlds, Fat Rocky 50’s, PeaceRussie, Rafael de Toledo Pedroso, Ishtar Sr., The Coil of Sihn, (is), and Spartan Jet-Plex.

Grimalkin is having a listening party in our Discord to hang out, listen and chat about all the submissions on August 7 at 7pm EST. Everyone is welcome.

Join our discord in advance because we do have rules to read before gaining access to the part of the server where we have the listening party. We do this in an effort to maintain a safe space.

Proceeds from this album support our Grimalkin Festival in Richmond, VA on October 14-15. If proceeds come in after the festival, those will support our current fundraisers at that time.
