As a Motherfucker by Quinton Barnes

$10.00

January 15, 2021: Quinton Barnes (he/him) currently lives in Montréal, Canada and is a Gr collective member. We are excited he is kicking off our new year with As a Motherfucker, his follow-up album to Aarupa and Aarupa Remixes. As a Motherfucker is an adventurous, ambitious work that explores the difficulties of balancing and navigating contradictions - between embracing love & seeking comfort in avoidance, between self-assurance and dejection, and the struggles that occur when ideals meet reality. Despite a seemingly confident exterior, As a Motherfucker is a work of great vulnerability and introspection that explores turbulence and buoyancy with ease.

Artist receives 75% of all proceeds of digital only sales. The remaining 25% supports Grimalkin's label and mutual aid fund and helps us towards sustaining our work.

Tape proceeds support CACTUS Montréal: "We are a community organization active in downtown Montréal and involved in preventing blood-borne and sexually transmitted infections (BBSI).We work with drug users, sex workers and trans people. We promote their health, their well-being and their inclusion into society. Harm reduction guides all our interventions. Our approach, pragmatic and humanistic, places the participation of people at the core of our action."

Lathe proceeds go back to our label and mutual aid fund since we break even if they all sell.
