Touchante by Spartan Jet-Plex

March 3, 2023: Spartan Jet-Plex aka Nancy Grim Kells (they/them), the founder and facilitator of Grimalkin Records, is releasing a handmade mixtape called Touchante.

"2022 has been a year of growth and evolution for myself personally as well as Grimalkin. This album features all of the monthly Loop Sessions DMV tracks that I created over the past year (2022) and in the order that they were made each month. Together they tell a story and serve as emotional and musical diary excerpts from my life this past year. My music is always deeply personal and what I enjoy about Loop Sessions is how the challenge to make a song using the provided crate within a short timeframe informs my creative process to relay mainly on my instincts, intuition and emotions in that moment in time every month."

This album releases via Grimalkin Records. Spartan Jet-Plex made a limited amount of handmade mixtapes and of this album to sell on Bandcamp.

Proceeds from tapes support Grimalkin's current fundraisers and artist receives 75% of digital proceeds, which supports their ability to continue their work for Grimalkin.
