Trio by Spartan Jet-Plex
These songs were written after my mom's passing and are about grief, the processing of that and also the grief and processing of a couple of bad relationships. I also think they're about grieving the realization that I don't properly know how to love and care for myself. I'm in a much better place than when I wrote these songs, but at the same time, they are so honest and universal and I keep coming back to wanting to sing and play several of them.
They were originally released as three separate albums: Cross the Line, My Time and Touch Tone. I feel these are albums with solid songwriting, but I edited out the songs on each album that I felt were making each album's set of songs weaker as a whole and wanted to re-release them all together as a tribute to my mom on what would have been her her 81st birthday. She passed away at the age of 68 from lymphoma.
75% of digital proceeds on Bandcamp go to Spartan Jet-Plex and the other 25% supports Grimalkin's future releases.
